Boke Tsverkog was built using the conventions of Tauran durring the early 10th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Boke Tsverkog is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature timber and earth construction, with most buildigns first floors resembling mounds of earth, with subsequent floors appearing as elaborate log cabins, with each building forming a tiered pyramid of sorts fromed from the stack of rectangular, peek roofed cabins. Most wooden bracing, support, and trim is carved with decorative knotwork, and the larger structures even feature painted trim which emphasises the knotwork.

Boke Tsverkog is is constructed arround a series of narrow paverstone mainstreets which form concentric circles, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to each other at varrious points. The city posesses a fortified albit thin wall of querried stone. This wall posesses most of the features of a castle wall, though it is constructed from cheeper inferior stone. It would pose a minor chalange for an attacking army, though it's clear the wall's true purpose is to crush the hopes of bandits and marauders. The failry decent fortifications has suffered a visible ammount of structural damage, leaving them effectivly useless. One can't help but wonder why the has not yet effected repairs.

A look around Boke Tsverkog shows Boke Tsverkog as a den of corruption. Birbes can be seen changing hands openly, such that it must be customary to do so and must have been for a long time. The locals have no fear, no annoyance at the state of things, it simply is. The city has another layer to it as well. Locals can be overheard having academic discussions, as well as talking about scholarly subjects in general. It’s quite clear Boke Tsverkog places a lot of value on education and being a learned individual, or at least, faking it.

POI

History

Boke Tsverkog is in secret rebellion against their ostensible liege, having cut deals with his enemies, plotted to betray him for their own gain, or bridled under his tyranny and sought a better lord. The community’s leadership is all in on this plot, and outside viceroys or representatives are being kept carefully ignorant of the reality. The common folk may be oblivious to the truth, though they’ll doubtless have felt the same motivations and promptings that convinced their leaders to turn traitor.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the late 2nd century, Boke Tsverkog was attacked by soldiers from another nation, waging a greater campaign. The details of the conflict are hazy at best due to many conflicting accounts. What is known is Boke Tsverkog lost 144 people, 266 livestock, and 83 buildings. The conflict ended after roughly 209, when members of Boke Tsverkog's militia enacted an operation to train a group of civilians for a special clandestine operation. The operation was complicated by the army being put into a position where they could only choose between two terrible options. The conflict ended with the defense of the temple against a siege, which ended in victory for Boke Tsverkog's forces. The war is remembered in legend by Boke Tsverkog's bards, historians, and legend keepers.
